The summer ferry 180 Andenes - Gryllefjord is operated only in month June to August, plus a few days in May and September. It connects the islands Andøya (state Nordland) and Senja (state Troms). The ferry can transport cars, motorcycles, motorhomes, buses and trucks and drives over an hour on open sea. People with sea sickness shall prepare themselves at days with strong wind and swell conditions.

 

A bistro is on board but was not selling food in 2018. Passengers shall use the supermarkets in both port locations prior boarding the ferry.

Timetable

The ferry connection operates 2 - 3 times per day and direction. The 2023 timetable of ferry 180 can be found on state Troms public transport website.

 

Booking

No pre-booking possible, just line up early enough the waiting lanes.

 

Price

The price for a one-way trip with standard car including driver was NOK 695 in 2019. For details see "tickets" on website of Tromskortet.

 

Payment

Passengers pay onboard at the bistro. Tromskortet offers also online payment with a discount (not booking). AutoPASS or FerryPay account recommended.

 

Duration of ferry ride

Approx. 100 minutes. Passengers are not allowed to stay in their vehicle.
